Hello,

I am looking to upgrade the factory Clarion stereo in my 07' H210. I would like to add the subwoofer and the tweeters that I believe were an option on my boat. Here is a parts list that I was able to pull from the Four Winns website (I am not sure that all of these are part of the upgrade):

065-1432
AMPLIFIER APX490M
101-20182
BOX, SUBWOOFER ENCLOSURE
027-2513
CABLE, RCA 6' #RCA6006
101-20310
DOOR ASS'Y,PORT STRG W/SPKR 190/200 '05'
027-2931
HARNESS ASS'Y, AMP ADAPTER ALL H,FS,S 07
027-2677
HARNESS ASSY, CLARION STEREO ADPTR
027-2774
HARNESS ASS'Y, SUBWOOFER JUMPER
065-1549
SPEAKER KIT, TWEETER/MID WOOFER #CM1635
065-1508
SUBWOOFER, CLARION 10" CMSW10.1

Please let me know if you have any pictures of the upgraded stereo, specifically where the sub, amp and tweeters are located. Also, any instructions on completing the upgrade would be great.

Thanks for your help!

That stuff sucks, don't waste your money. I'm not sure how the 2007 H210 layout goes but definitely get quality speakers like Polk or Infinity and a class D rated amp(s) to run them to save on battery power. It's going to be a custom install so if you're good with cutting holes and making stuff pretty it's a fun project, otherwise leave it to the pros of a good audio shop.

Having one 10in Polk sub in a sealed enclosure on my boat is pretty insane. Much more bass/louder then any factory marine stuff. You can hear the bass 1mi across the lake!

As stated by Ric, Clarion gear has a pretty poor bang for buck - period.
Your local car audio store will very likely offer you a much better performing upgrade, at a fraction of the cost.
Dependant on where the gear will be installed, you may be able to use much better performing car audio components.

I recommend Wet Sounds; it is worth the money.

Thank you for all the responses. I completely agree with looking at different amps and subs for the upgrade. I would however like to try to keep things looking as "stock" as possible. For that reason, I am considering the Four Winns sub enclosure. Does anyone have a picture of the enclosure and where it is located? Also, where is the factory amp located and where are the tweeters installed?

This is the factory sub located under the bench seat in the rear. Image. Image The tweeters are right next to the speakers. The amp is normally installed in front of the driver in the flip up cubbie hole, if that makes any sense. It couldn't find a good picture of it.

Jeddie, I saw your boat pics on the SS thread....man you got a loaded ride there. Nice boat. I want the bow fill cushions, stereo upgrade and pass thru door like you have.

Your local car audio store can easily make you a size specific, water resistant MDF/ Ply enclosure that will run rings around the factory enclosure.
This really is a simple upgrade & most reputable audio establishments can perform this at a reasonable price!

Tx, thanks for the compliment. The bottom pic is not my boat but mine looks just like that except for the doors.

That sub box is way too small for any good sound, and doesn't seal. I agree with what's above. Don't waste your money aiming for the factory stuff. Build what you want. I used that factory stuff as a starting point. You also need to cut a hole or vent in the compartment where the sub is for the bass to vent out. Spend some time looking around...you will want two amps, class D preferably.
I now have the factory Clarion deck, used the factory Clarion amp for four Focal component speakers, have a mono Class D for a sub in a custom box in the factory compartment. Next up for me is an Alpine Type R sub upgrade. Remember you may want a second battery if you run two amps.
