Hello All,

I own a 2006 Horizon 180 3.0L that I purchased new back in 06. It has served my family well so far.

I have some questions about my boat and official Four Winns Accessories.

It seams that the 2006 H180 is excluded from many of the accessories.

For example (this is from FW web page)

I think they are saying the 06 H180 is excluded from the swim platform, maybe someone else can tell me for sure. When I go to the parts/accessories catalog and put in my model/year the swim platform is not an option.

Time and time again the '06 is listed as being excluded from various accessories, why is this? Is this model very different then the 05 and 07?

Hi Daniel

From what I have seen, there are some accessories that never have existed on the H180, like the walk through doors, and the bow scuff plate. I believe someone on this forum did try ordering the scuff plate once, only to not have it fit. The walk through doors have never been an option on the '06-'12 180. We get around this by keeping the bow cover on when it is cool out.

For the swim platform, I suspect that there is some reinforcement wood that is not built into the '06 and '07 model boats that is needed for the swim platform, because the platform was not offered on those years. The extended platform only became available in the '08 model year for the 180. There are aftermarket options if you are looking for an extended platform. swimplatforms.com comes to mind....
