The bellows is about 60-70 bucks and on the SX style Volvos you can change it without removing the pivot housing. So there is less labor than on a Merc. You have to remove the exhaust bellows first and probably also the trim sender and then you can remove the driveshaft bellows. The trim senders are a common trouble spot and a real pain to replace on some boats because the wiring goes up inside the transom mount and comes out in a really inaccessible spot inside the boat (right by the steering arm). My Cobra is the same and what my mechanic did was drill a hole in the side of the transom mount and run the wire up the transom just like a transducer cable. That way I can change it in about 10 min, very easy. BTW the ones that lasted the longest were the aftermarket Sierra ones, vs the OE OMC ones that you can't get anymore.
