Hi, I am a new member from CT. I dont have my boat yet because I had to order it. I traded my 2007 Stingray 185LS w/3.0 ( to small and under powered) for a H200. Hope to pick it up in April 2008. Where are all the pictures? I noticed that no one talks about adding trim tabs to their boats. Is that because they are not needed on Four Winns? Alot of Stingray owners add them to their boats. Any info about choice of boats would be welcomed. Thanks to all.

I fully recommend to have controllable trim tabs in any boat longer than 20 feet. I installed a pair of Bennett trim tabs in 06 Horizon 240 and I thought it made a huge difference in rough water condition. It also helps to balance the boat well.
Horizon has a very limited space to install small trim tabs and many Horizon owners say you do not need tabs but I sure liked them for my boat.
When I ordered my new H260, ordered tabs (option for H260) as well.

I would probably want them on a 260, but I can't think of any problems on my 240 that I'd want/need them to correct.

Welcome aboard.

Photos-did you look on the photos section of the home page?

Trim tabs- don't need them on my 220 either, but the roughest water I see is on a reservoir. I don't get barge wake on a river or any ocean tide to deal with.
