Bought a 2001 Horizon 210 about a month ago. Seats need re-upholstering/replacing. Needs a good polishing and waxing and all that sort of stuff. 1st time actually owning a boat so its a work in progress.

Does anyone know the length of the gas spring that holds the port side rear seat (where the cooler is stored). Mine is shot and need to replace it but boat is on water and I was going to grab one if anyone by chance knew the correct length.

Anyway learning lots of information on this board.

Looks like a very nice boat, only a little tlc needed. You'll really like that engine with the dp combo. Should push the boat real well.

For the gas shocks, I'm not sure on the length, but you can probably just take it off and head to your local auto parts store. Likely, they'll have what you need in stock.

It looks like you have a double bow roller on the trailer which isn't set correctly. Make sure to feed the bow strap between the rollers. You should end up with one roller above and one below the bow eye. That should allow you to pull your boat on the trailer a bit further preventing any sway issues as well as supporting the transom better. If I recall the transom should pretty much be above the rear cross bar on the trailer.

Yeah I didn't think the strap looked like it was in the right place. That was the day I brought her home (I didn't put it on the trailer). Thanks for the heads up though.

Its definitely going to be a learning process in keeping this boat up.
Blew a bearing on the trailer first time out. Boat ran hot and not knowing much about them I took her to a mechanic. Impeller was shot and pieces were all over the place. They replaced impeller, thermostat, flushed the system, and replaced a cracked hose. Runs fine now.
