I've been pondering my anchor selection lately due to some unseasonable breezy days on the Lake. Normally my Bass Pro Shops "Navy Anchor" is just fine for Table Rock and gravelly conditions. But lately I've been dragging my anchor all over the place because it won't grab(Except for the occasional tree). Because of the anchor stowage opening we are a bit limited in size of anchors. Mine is a 15-20lb size...

Just curious if other folks have ran into similar situations or maybe can offer solutions....

Ready to relax in the boat and not have to readjust locations every 15 minutes....

Chene anchor works great for me at Table Rock. I've had to re-set a couple of times, but usually not, and once set, it holds. And I've never had a problem retrieving it, which is more than I can say for some others.
