I looked at the video. For some reason, that drive has the type of stub exhaust hose that is only attached to the transom shield and is open at the outdrive end. The water coming out is normal. My 2004 boat had one, it was very noisy, so I replaced it with the bellows type that is fixed in place at both ends. No difference in performance, but the boat is a lot quieter and more pleasant to be on when underway now.

I was thinking that too, looking at the video, close to the end, where he zooms back in, it looks to me like it didn't even have an exhaust bellows.. My boat has the exhaust stub you refer to, and I kind of like it. Gives it a nice little rumble, and a mild performance sound, when it's anything but...

Thanks for all the input. I went out last weekend and my boat worked perfect. It was running good. While up there I had my boat looked at for a quick second and he said everything seems fine and what not. Nothing to worry about.
