I was thinking that too, looking at the video, close to the end, where he zooms back in, it looks to me like it didn't even have an exhaust bellows.. My boat has the exhaust stub you refer to, and I kind of like it. Gives it a nice little rumble, and a mild performance sound, when it's anything but...
