Congratulations! 1/4" difference in prop will hardly be noticeable. How old are the trailer tires? Be aware that 5 years is the rule of thumb on replacement; you can't judge their condition by their appearance.

Congrats.

Did it turn out to be snap-in carpet or glued-down carpet?

I already went ahead and already replaced the trailer tires. They were definitely old.

The carpet is glue down. I think in the off season i'm gonna have the carpet replaced and a couple of small holes fixed in the seats.

If you're going to take up the carpet consider removing the carpet glue and have the deck gel coated in a non skid gelcoat. Carpet over a wood cored deck is what rots decks in boats. It should be against Coast Guard regs to install that crap in marine environment! It holds in moisture and rot loves wood, moisture and a certain temp. You let the moisture evaporate (no carpet) and it is much harder for rot to start. The carpet will keep the deck damp for months, esp under the rear seat.
Gel coating the deck will cost quite a bit more than replacing the carpet but it will make the boat last much longer. Also either way when you re-install the seats seal all the holes for the mounting screws with 3m4200 or Life Seal.

I will definitely look into that.

Well to give a little update. I had a local boat mechanic go over the boat and they gave it a clean bill of health. So with that i made the purchase. Gonna try and take it out on the water tomorrow. I do have another question though. I want to get a new stainless steel prop. The one on there now is a little chewed up. The one currently on the boat is a 14-1/2 diameter with a 19 pitch, which the service guy said was stock. He recommended to put an OEM stainless one back on. The one i was looking at getting is a Solas 14-3/4 diameter with a 19 pitch. What would that 1/4" do?

Congrats on your purchase it looks like a nice purchase.
I have been told you can go up to 1/2" diameter with no difference in performance in the prop. I have also been told a nicked dinged beat up rob will rob you of performance and fuel.

(Keep the old one as a spare however)
