Back to the OP.... if you have small children with an I/O, a battery powered carbon monoxide detector is a must! We found one at Lowes for less than $20. Bolted it next to the fire extinguisher under the passenger's dash console, a place where carbon monoxide is most likely to build up in our boat.

And also add them to your wakeboard and slalom ski. I plan on adding them to my bowrider at the same time I install seatbelts, airbags and disc brakes.
So........ what was included by this "largest , highly recommended " dealer ????? :?: :?: :?:
Fire extinguisher
2 fenders with line (I'm thinking I'll buy one or two more)
4 pack of orange life savers (will be nice for extra's/spares - I'll have vests for tubing/skiing anyways)
anchor w/rode (probably a cheapy, doubt there gonna give me a Fortress, haha)
2 dock lines (gonna need more from the reading I have done)
Throwable

Off the top of my head, I think that's it.

I think it's one of those "coast guard packages".

Still have a few other things on my list of course, but I'm learning by reading, this site, along with The Hull Truth, both have been very helpful. Thank you!

Mine came with the rubber mat in ski locker...the type with holes for draing and raised bumps on bottom. I picked up more at home depot and cut to fit in anchor locker and aft storage areas.

Keeps things from sliding around and banging the fiberglass...easy to remove for cleaning.

Is it ignition rated?

Even more important than that is a gas vapor detector, every gas inboard should have one as standard.
Dual battery system should be standard
There should be an auto switch for the bilge pump
The skipper should rig up an emergency bilge pump that can be hooked up to the battery and lowered into the bilge (Rule 2000 gph).
