Hi everybody! Bought a 2006 FW Horizon 190 last fall. Spent several weeks working on it, waxing it, cleaning it, installed new speakers, etc. Am very much looking forward to getting out on the lakes and rivers of Kentucky. We spend a lot of time on Cave Run Lake and the Ohio river in the Louisville area.

Looking forward to the forum as well!

Mike

Welcome to the forum. Hope you have a blast with that boat. There is a lot of knowledge and good info on this site, and a fair amount of it is even specific to Four Winns :) C'mon summer!!!

Congratulations on your purchase. As the owner of one myself, I think you're going to enjoy the 190. Easy to trailer, easy to operate, economical, good for watersports and rides well. If you're like my family, it fits our needs about 95% of the time. The other 5% I wish I had something that would handle ten or so people.

Enjoy!

Thanks Niagara- I thought so too. You should see it after all the tlc I put into it.

I can't wait for it to get a little warmer. We really like to boat and camp with the dogs...no kids yet. We usually leave the boat in the water overnight way back in a calm cove and just walk about 200 feet to our campsite. Great memories!!

Btw, I had a 19' Caravelle before this one but it's been a few years without a boat so even more excited.

Anything to look out for on these H190's? Everything operates perfectly and looks great except the Faria trim gauge does not register anything. You think prob lies with trim gauge or the sending unit?

Could be the sending unit. Give it a "gentle" tap with something. Been known to work. Also wiring could be the culprit. Check it with a multi-meter at the sending unit and gauge (under helm).

Welcome! As an FYI, I have some friends that camp a lot with their boat and they swear by this thing.
