Still checking over the new boat --- So while replacing my raw water impeller, I noticed the bilge pump hose was not connected. Apparently the previous owner had overtightened the clamp and cracked the plastic connector which finally broke off. The pump is 2 pieces - an Attwood float switch and a 500gph Attwood pump. The float switch works fine. Both are wired to the same 4 pin plug in connector.

I am looking at just purchasing an 800 gph pump and wiring it into the existing connector and keeping the float switch. The outlet is a 3/4" hose so that is the largest pump I can find with that size outlet.

Any thoughts on this or a brand of pump or if I should buy a pump with an integrated switch instead and lose the two separate systems.

Hopefully going to get this all sorted out and the boat back in the water where it belongs after this weekend.

Thanks
