Given that my trim switch needs replaced, thought I might see if I can recalibrate the gauge as well. When the drive is down, the needle reads well below the bottom double line. Is this an easy tweak?

The trim sensor on the right side of the out drive can be rotated to adjust the gage's needle position when the drive is full down. It is located at the drive's pivot hinge. There are two screws that can be loosened a little and then the sensor can be rotated. Adjust and check while on the trailer. Be aware that on some trailers the drive can not be trimmed all the way down without hitting the ground or the trailer, so you may have to adjust more than once.
