I posted this in Engine/Drive section, but maybe I should have posted here
I have a H200 with 4.3 Volvo Penta. Dealer has repaired/rebuilt my outdrive due to a bad oil change that I may have done.. I used to be able to go around 50mph running I believe was 4500-4800 RPMs. I now can barely hit 30MPH and revving at 5200 RPMs.. I still have lots of movement in my throttle but I am very leery of running the motor too high and do more damage. Recently i had 4 people in my boat and tried to get up to speed I hit 6000 RPM's. I obviously dropped back to get to around 4800 RPMs, but was going pretty slow. The high temp alarm went off a few weeks ago while trolling as well, I'm not sure if this is all associated with the High RPM's or not. Does anyone have any idea's?
thanks -Dave
