I bought her in May with 69 hours on it, Volvo 5.7 GI. The first impression wasnt all that great when i test drove it. The red was oxidized real bad, trailer was in need of paint and the wheels and tires were just not that appealing. I could see the potential in what was there, and my wife asked me if i thought i could get it look the way we wanted, and i really thought i could so we bought it 2 days later.
I bought a buffer with pads, oxidation remover, polish and wax and went to town. after a couple days i had it looking a ton better, but my shoulders weren't doing so well. haha I pulled off the pin stripe with a hair dryer and a plastic card, it would smear with the heat from the spinning buffer, and replaced it with a new stickers after i was finished buffing.
The interior was almost flawless, seeing as how it had the snap on covers on it. So a little magic eraser love and the interior was looking new.
I painted the trailer with a couple cans of spray paint and it made a huge difference. Me, being pretty anal about my things, wanted the ENTIRE package to look good, so i had to get news wheels along with the new tires.
To top it all off i had the windows tinted a couple weeks ago to really give it that over the top stance.
All in all, we are THRILLED with our purchase.
