Last year on our H180 w/5.0Gi (250 HP), I went from a SS 14.25 x 23p to a SS 14 x 21p and loved it. The issue with the 14.25 x 23p was it appeared to be over-propped with top speed coming at 4200-4400 RPM. The new prop had the same top speed but comes around 4800 RPM, right where it is supposed to be. The hole-shot was much improved as well. Plus it looked nice and shiny.

Well guys I have pin pointed the problem. Even when my boat was at full throttle my boat would only do 4250 rpm. This by my fact finding is way too low with my motor. If you add in more weight and tow a wakeboarder this problem would get worse and worse. I am running a 23 pitch right now. I am going to drop down to a 19 or 21 and give it hell this weekend.

This finding does not agree with your original post. Unless somebody switched your prop at night? :?

... I had the boat out multiple times no issues at all. I was out on thursday with 6 people plus towing one wakeboarder. Had plenty of power and planed off like normal. I docked the boat for the night came back to the boat and went back out in the lake and all of a sudden I couldnt get on plane...

I would guess that you still have something that is causing you to lose power. It could be as simple as 1 bad spark plug or wire. The engine will still run smoothly without 1 cylinder firing at all, but with about 15% less power.

You said that one day you had plenty of power, and the next day you didn't. That doesn't sound like a prop issue!
