Does anyone have pictures of wake towers on their horizon series boats? I'm looking for the same look as factory with a Bimini.. I know I've posted before about it, just have the bug lately.

Thanks,

This is the tower that was supplied to us from Four Winns. The bimini is a solid frame unit that attaches to the tower. Since we almost never go without the bimini top, it works well for us. If someone wanted to go boating without the bimini, it would mean leaving it somewhere on shore.

I like that it has lighting integrated into the tubing. One light on top and two rear facing lights out the back.

I also like that it is one frame as opposed to two side rails with the tower frame on top - just less busy but they're both nice towers. Below is the tower I have seen most often on Horizon's from Four Winns. Not sure what other models they have offered...

I wonder what the clearance is? I currently leave the bimini top up and it barely fits under the garage space I rent at the lake. Is this tower higher than a factory bimimi ?

Very good question and maybe an important difference in features. The tower they installed on my boat has two pivot points allowing it to fold down for that very reason. The other style I cannot comment on but it 'appears' to be fixed in position. Most towers are designed to fold down for garage storage though.

And yes, i would bet that this tower is higher than a factory bimini...

Here is mine. It is a factory Four Winns that folds down.

Craig, your tower is the one I need. Anyway you can measure from side to side and front to back posts for me? Ric suggested Great lakes skipper. They have a tower that looks like yours (which is the one I want) but cannot tell me the factory size tower . The four Winn's factory tower the dealer sent me has a part number. When I sent the part number to GLS they said they couldn't verify just to match up the measurements and a lot of them are universal. Four Winn's wants 3k for it. Great lakes skipper $1600. Just not sure about the size

Hi atlmover,
I have some measurements for you. These are centre of the tube at the mounts.
Front to rear - 2220mm.
Side to side front - 2080mm.
Side to side rear - 2480mm.

Sorry about the metric measurements.

Cheers, Craig

Thanks Craig. Just curious , was your tower factory installed? Did the speaker cans come on it?

Hi mate,
I bought the boat second hand last year. I do know that the tower was factory ordered from new, with speakers etc.

Cheers, Craig

Go to bigairwaketowers.com They have several towers and Biminis that look like these posted. I bought mine there with speakers.

My 2007 H220 has the less common OEM tower and I'm planning on getting one of these from bigairwaketowers.com this next season. I've been checking pricing for years and they look to have the best prices. I just tired of raising and lowering my bimini that came with the boat. By the way, if any of you with 220's want a brand new cadet gray sunbrella travel cover that fits the OEM tower I have one that I ordered for my H220 last summer. Found out after the fact that my factory tower was not the one most commonly on H220's and will only fit the ones you guys have. I paid $799 and the on-line company wouldn't take it back. I'll sell it for $399 plus shipping if anyone is interested.
