Hello,

I'm trying to hook my IPod to the RCA plugs in the back of the 2005 factory Clarion XMD3. I am only getting sound out of the front speakers. Anyone have this issue? There's 3 sets of RCA plugs. Only one set works and only on the front speakers.

Most of these RCA plugs are "outputs" not "Inputs"
Are any of them labeled as "Aux-In"? Have you been able to switch the radio to "Aux" mode?

edit: I just found online that on the xmd3, the output RCAs are Grey and Black wires, and the Input RCAs are Red wire (with Red & White tips for Left & Right)

If you just switch to fm mode on the head unit and tune a local station, does it behave the same?

The situation has been resolved and it works great. I found some information online, turns out the issue was with the IPOD. I use the RCA plugs with the red wires and no issues.
