I wondered about my corssa all off season not being quite right too. When I finally got her out of storage I started fiddling...anyway...after about 30 times of switching on/off it got quieter each time. Almost like some "gunk" (yeah that's my term) was preventing the flappy doohicky from closing all the way.

What I didn't try but thought of later was to try toggling it off with the engine off. Wondered if the lack of engine exhaust pressure would allow it to close completely.

When I started fiddling with my exhaust, I noticed one side wouldn't close very often. After cycling a bunch of times, it seems to work fine. I also have noticed when I toggle it off, it has gotten quieter like it is sealing up better even when running at a few hundred rev; I just wish when I openned it, it would get louder over time
