my problem has been resolved. i can still get a beep from time to time when firing it up after floating for a bit or stoping and starting from boarding tubing etc. but that goes away within a few seconds once the engine gets going the presure goes up to normal.

what i did was pull all the oil and put in volvo 30w synthetic. i also changed my impeller (just incase). in the garage it seemed like i had way to much oil so i pulled some out. then once on the water it peeped some more at us (low oil presure) i checked hte oil on hte water and it was low, added a quart or so back in to get it right where it needed to be and now she's fine except for the occasional peep which goes away quickly. i also had hte VDO and even ordered a new sensor (the one on the motor) but never picked it up.

i hope that helps. at the dealer when picking up the 30w volvo syn when talking to the shop manager the first thing they said to do was get the CORRECT oil volvo specs for it and go from there instead of throwing parts at it.
