Alright! Boat just pulled into the drive with the platform installed. Need to take it back after the trip for some touch up work but it looks great. Pics coming soon.

Ok got dark way to fast with more damn storms tonight. Got the cover on it and already in the garage for the trip this weekend. I know the dealer took some before during and after pics just for this site so I'll get those and post them. Otherwise I'll get some action shots this weekend in the water.

I did stop by the lake and back it in to center it perfectly before the trip and to my surprise it doesn't sit as high as I thought. It's got a big beveled back edge but it sits just a couple inches off the water. Oh and a bonus for you 180 folks out there. We get a three step ladder thats attached to the rear of the boat stock, when you put this on it goes to a six step angled ladder like the big boats get that stores in the platform. I'm really happy, and a shout out to Dave the mechanic at The Boat House in Topeka. He stayed late to make sure it was done right, he promised me some touch up work and a detail when I get time but for just ordering this two weeks ago I'm stoked.

Another customer who never owned a boat and bought the red sister to my blue 180 said this to me, "We really expected that this whole process of buying a boat would be like dealing with a car dealership. We couldn't be happier with the way we've been treated, it's like they really want our business but more importantly they want us to love our investment and come see them anytime we have any questions."

I thought about that and if you've bought new cars lately just imagine how nice it would be if your car dealer had the same attitude. Kudos to The Boat House in Topeka. With Kansas City and Wichita within driving range it's hard to believe and really nice to have a small business that still remembers whats important.

OK commercial OVER!!

Waiting for the sister in law to email me pictures from this weekend. I need a vacation after this one.

Dealer put on a new depth finder since my old one had problems. Apparently the cable didn't stay attached as I got to the new lake the finder didn't work at all. After much searching blind behind the dash I borrowed a screw driver and took the dash apart to reattach the cable.

All in all the swim platform was great. I had a 9,5, and 2 year old jumping off it all day. If only I could keep them out of the boat all together and on the platform it would be even better. Had to take the boat apart last night from carpet to seats, to every dang hole just to clean it up. Man the nephews are hard on it!! but everyone had a great time.

If you've even had young kids on your boat you have no idea of the calm and relaxed feeling when they are jumping off that insead of the bow, the seats, or over the prop. Worth every penny.

This was the first time we've been out that I gave serious thought to my next larger boat. With 7 on the boat at one time my nice little 135hp Volvo stuggled a bit.

Pic's are coming I hope, wife forgot camera and now boat is still in pieces while the carpet was sprayed down and cleaned.
