Location: Eastern Pa.
This morning getting ready to go to lake I was insp under side of boat. I noticed about 3-4' fwd of stern on starB side 2-3 " for centerline, a 2" round black plastic or rubber plug! Any of the more seasoned owners care to enlighten this newbie as to what it's for :?: Thanks in advance

What's on the inside of the engine room at that same location? There are a bunch of things it could be, but it's likely the depth/temp/speed transducer. Or just depth/temp as the speed ones actually pop-open and reveal a paddlewheel sort of gadget to measure the speed of the water.

On the 190, that'll be the depth sounder transducer. It's not a plug, that's the end of the transducer.
