On my h210 when the bimini is in its lower position its a real bear to unclip to move upright. The latches pull back, but I cannot get the short leg pin out of the reciever on either side. This is only the second attempt, when in the upper position the upper pin/reciever release works fine.

Is it normally this difficult or do i have a mis-allignment of sorts?

It could be that you just need practice. But it could also be that the short legs need to be adjusted up or down where they connect to the long poles (i.e., change the angles involved).

Mis-Aligned . . yeah a piece on mine is too. I have the bimini built into the waketower and the two little legs that brace the canvas bow for the aft section are supposed to slide into these little mounts and get pinned. One side works slick while the other is mounted a little "off" - it is a pain to get the brace to slip in and pin it.
Tried to adjust the bracket but only suceeded in stripping the mounting screw so I just live with wrestling the brace into the mount.
