The day care for my daughter is $1700/month and we are only allowed to deduct $7000/yr on taxes for child care (on the lower earner in the household). Oh well, she is learning and happy and I don't worry about her there.

It's only money.

Wow expensive up there in Canada. We pay $640.00/month for our son.

You guys are giving my wife ammo on why I should let her open up an in home daycare! We paid $110/week for Devin, until his dad's mom started watching him for next to nothing.

Have you checked loan rates at your bank? I know a guy on CSR couldn't get the loan he was looking for to get his new boat...granted it was a 36 Sedan Bridge though....

This daycare has hand scan secuity at the door, on site Chef who cooks all food from scratch, nap room with personal crib for each baby, etc. Kind of "Pimp my Daycare" sort of thing. They teach her sign language and at 15 months old she already knows about 40 words. I expect her to have a PhD by age 6 and be supporting her old man by age 10.

2007 Four Winns 200 SS 280HP / 90 Total Hours - $29000

You can get this one, it's local here in West Michigan, for about $26K with a bigger motor than yours. That is if you did not want a 2008 and only in yellow.

Not a big fan on the black and white color scheme.

Sounds a lot like the daycare we have our son is. Just turned two on Sunday but is way ahead of most kids his age with sign language and speaking. Bill is right at $1,000 a month. Of course that bill will be multiplying by three in August   . Yep...$36k a year in daycare. It is a lot...but I know they are safe, learning at a very young age and it won't go on forever.

VP versus Merc.

Used to be night & day. Volvo is still a better shifting drive than a Bravo. However - with DTS - it's back to equal playing grounds.

Maybe we start a West Michigan Four Winns daycare. Teach boating, fishing, and scenery looking at a young age. We can get a crib or two in the 260...
