Hello all,

I just bought a used 1994 180 Horizon SE and am looking for parts. Where can I buy factory original parts (both new and used) for this boat? The Four Winns website only goes back to 1996 model years. Also if anyone can give me information on the SS option for this boat I would appreciate it.

I like to use marinepartsexpress.com for engine and drive parts. Did they have an SS option in 94?

Welcome from another older Four Winns owner. There is an archive on important info on these boats at http://www.fourwinns.net. Where are you located?

They did not have a SS model until sometime in the 2000s.

The general manual you find on there was pretty standard across the board for these older boats. If you really need to find parts, depending on what your looking for, call Four Winns. They are extremely helpful.

Most of the older parts are not available thru them anymore. But most mechanical parts can be purchased through most marine stores, Sierra makes a lot of parts for older OMC boats. In terms of cosmetic parts that is going to be a harder find.

Thanks for all the information guys. I think I may confused you guys with my SS question. The SS on the 1994 option I was discussing is actually the Sun Sports Interior option which was available for the 1994 IO model which I have. I was wondering where I could get some replacement parts for this interior as my interior is shot. Thanks for all the help.

Your best option is probably find a local interior shop and have them recover anything that is damaged. What is all damaged?

good question. The answer is that pretty much every part of the interior is damaged. The previous owner tore out the interior so I have my self an interior to rebuild. Good news is the deck, motor, and body are all in great shape. I wanted to match it the SS interior of the original design if I can which is why I was looking for 94 parts. I would post a photo, but I am not sure how to do that here. Just picture a steering wheel, a motor and a wood deck and you have the interior. Also, the helm is intact.

You can post photos from Photobucket pretty easy. So the structure of the interior is not even there? Maybe try and find a donor boat is possible. I know there is a boat salvage yard not to far from me in Greenville Wisconsin, but not sure of the name of it. Factory parts are going to be hard to come by for a 94 I would think. Not to mention expensive. You might need to build it.

correct on the interior being long gone. I like the idea of the donor boat and boat salvage yard, I'll check that out. I will also check out photo bucket and post some photos so you can see what it looks like. It really sounds worse than it is. I am okay building it, but I thought if I could at least get the original specs it would be much easier to match the dimensions than to figure them out from scratch.

I had the same project with my 88 200 Horizon, the interior was there but it was all cracked and sun damaged. I had the bow cushions redone by a local shop, he felt that it would be too expensive to re-do the nice helm seats it had, and suggested buying some from Overton's or West Marine. I got a nice pair of helm seats for a pontoon boat that matched the interior (the coaming panels were still intact and in good shape). For the rear seat, I used 2 bench seats again for a pontoon boat, that were the right size combined (each was 36 in across) to span the space of the OE seat and these matched the pattern and colors of the helm seats perfectly. It pretty much looks as if it were OE it matches so well. Not a cheap job, but I did it over a couple of seasons. I keep it covered all the time so they still look new.

Here's your opportunity to make your boat unique and very functional. Build-in coolers, tables, storage compartments etc... take a good look at what is out there and then get a good upholstery guy on board and start building... Use 1/4 plywood for the coaming templates and build the seat structure out of 3/4" marine plywood. Keep in mind that wood rots and try and keep it off the floor for drainage and air circulation. Some nice aluminum brackets will work nicely. Most salvage yard boats are going to be destroyed and of little benefit to you.

I would be tempted to mount four buckets in the cockpit with an engine cover and a seat on either side with coolers built-in below. Have a table mount in the center of the buckets so you can rotate all the buckets to "sit" at the table.

Get out a tape, make a sketch of the area you have and post it here, we'll help you
