...the upper stripe that is!

I am toying with the idea of removing the upper stripe. It is pretty beat up IMO, the admiral says patch it up, I saw f-it, remove it.

What do you all think???

I think it looks much cleaner without it, plus it saves me $50 in stripes. I am defiantly keeping the triple stripe on the waterline.

What do you think?

rip it. cleaner look. One less thing to maintain. If you end up not liking it - easy to add it back as long as you can find striping to match.

I like it without. Looks cleaner and I am not a fan of tape stripes.

I say take both of them off like the example boat. It makes the boat look more modern. Stripes are only going to fail again and get scratched and if you don't prep properly you'll be doing them again sooner than later!

I will be keeping the lower stripe for sure. I am not parting ways with that.

The prep work is not the issue, I know exactly what I am doing. If you can tape lines on a full size clay model / car / etc you can do this with your eyes closed.

Thanks for the input everyone, you are supporting my view on it!
