Some things I do prior to Spring:
1. Replace Impeller (a few cold beers usually helps) 2. Charge/check batteries 3. Check my boat bag or box (matches, flashlight and good batteries, first aid kit, sunscreen etc...). Make sure everything is topped off and ready. 4. Wash and wax the boat. (a few cold beers usually helps) 5. Lube the trailer points: Brake actuator, tongue swivel hinge wheel bearings. 6. Fill the fuel tank (if not already topped off from winter). 7. Sit in the driveway or garage and drink a beer or 6 while I wait for warm weather. 8. Test bilge pump (automatic and manual modes) 9. Test blower . 10. Check my navigational, anchor and dock lights. 11. Check trailer tire pressure. 12. Put back all the life vests, bumpers, rope etc... 13. Listen to the stereo at levels that will upset the neighbors while sitting in the garage/driveway waiting for warm weather.
