 Post subject: Trolling Plate

I have been considering having a trolling plate installed on my 180. Has anyone tried one of these and are there any issues to be concerned with? My boys are too young for a tube or ski 's so I thought we might try fishing instead.

My boat came with one that's removable...

I have seen those but can't see the point , at idle in gear is barely walking pace on my boat , ergo if I want to use my boat for trolling that seems about the right speed anyway imho
