My Grab handles on the passenger side of the boat and the grab handle on the rear of the boat above the step are bolted in and I can't reach the bolts. How do you take the rear seat back rest off and is it open to reach through to get to the bolts and how do you take the side covers off to get to the passenger side bolts. I have a FW Horizon RX 1998. Thanks Mark

I'm wondering if these just secure into the fiberglass, or if there is a bolt behind it. I tried to reach up by the passenger grab handle and couldn't quite make it.

If you manage to take these off, please post pics of the process.

Just curious, but are you replacing these because the piece that covers the screw came off?

Yeah to your question and also they were molded pretty bad when I bought the boat. Mine are bolted through the fiberglass. I could reach one bolt on the passenger side but not the top one. The one on the rear I can't reach at all unless the rear seat back rest comes off somehow and there is an opening behind it. If I figure a way to do it I will post the procedure.

In case you haven't tried this yet, get down on the floor and look straight at the seat back and you'll find a screw dead center on the bottom. My guess is that this is the key to get those off.

I also looked underneath where the grab handles are and there are nuts behind the scenes.

Yeah if you take out the screw the backseat comes off and there is access to the grab handle nuts. Still working on the passenger side grab handle without taking off all the trim. Thanks
