Hey Walt I got to agree about the black as far as the interior goes ( It gets way too hot ) but I thought the tan could be replaced with the orange to match the rest of the trim and PERHAPS??? maybe grey for the carpet
back to yah

Actually Ardy, the Ebbtide's I was looking at had flame graphics of the color scheme on the seats....

I didn't care for that too much either. Imagine in 10 years when you have to get that repaired from all the tears.

The LAST thing I could imagine having to deal with is a shiny black hull BELOW the water line. Sheesh. Its a big enough pain to wipe down the sides of mine. I can't imagine the back breaking experience caring for that.

Sometime, I really wonder if boat builder/designers actually boat more than a test run. I've got a list of about 20 things on m boat that I think are absurd.

I think the red/black is different. I also think the black bottom will show lots of scuffs.

I prefer the black powder coated windshield trim that is on the '07 models.

Wow, my waxing arm hurts just looking at that thing. This is one of those boats that look sharp as long as your waxing and washing every half hour.

Also, damnit four winns. Look at the second to last picture of the rear interior of the boat. They continue to do this and it kills me. That really nice high tech drain plug they put in there. IT"S TO DAMN HIGH! You can see it in the picture, as bad as mine. The water that gets in the carpet has nowhere to go. I measured it and at a slight incline you have to dump two gallons of water in the back of the boat before it even goes through the drain............WHY............if your taking on that much water you have bigger problems. That drain should be halfway into the floor!!

I agree with not liking the black lower on the outside. Much like our solid color hulls better. The interior would be super sweet if they went with red on the seats as well kinda like the Crownline LPX Package has. I do like the stainless on the windshield however. Just think it accents the rest of the stainless trim well.

+1 on the tounge jack! Wish mine was like that and if I had not just bought a new one 3 months ago I would be looking for that one.

I'll admit it, I'm a fan. By the way, my seats are trimmed in red.

Coming from a yellow '03 Crownline 202 LPX, I'm very pleased with the look and style of the red and black SS. It's a head turner at the ramp, but I'm surrounded by UGA fans so they are predisposed to loving it. Local resale value should be just fine.

It looks great after a quick wipe down, I don't wash and wax every time I get it wet. A friend has great success with a 50/50 vinegar and water spray bottle at wipe down on his black hulled 2004 Super Air Nautique. I haven't had any water spot problems yet, so I haven't gone that far.

We had trouble on the Crownline with the black aluminum windshield frame flexing and spider cracking the tinted glass. I'll take the SS header for some extra rigidity and the windshield stays closed when we're running around.

Any questions about the boat, just let me know.
