Question about a possible Wake Tower.
Yes I "should" have bought the boat with one. I did not even try a wakeboard till after we got the boat.

Looked into the factory one from Phil Dill. Here is the response I got from them.....

Chris, the stainless steel arch – tower – is not available for a 200 horizon.
Regular towers are available , at $3545.83 for the tower and $1381.01 for the new bimini .
Cost for crating and shipping will run around $300.00 and installation is $ 780.00.
Expect a month for delivery

So a whopping total of 6k for a wake tower! What a rip! I'm more upset with FourWinns. What a crock to offer a wake tower that does not work with existing bimini.

I went looking and found custom built towers that look nice for about 2500.
http://www.wakeair.com
They will build the tower to fit around my bimini and will follow lines of windshield.

Should I suck up and pay the 6k for the "factory" tower? Anyone have a non factory tower?
My concern is that it is well built and looks factory or better.

Thoughts?? -- I got all winter to decide

I don't have a tower and have never wake boarded, but I've heard it said that some of the aftermarket towers are better than the factory ones. Don't forget http://www.monstertower.com.

Thanks everyone for the links!
Been checking them out. Lots of options.
Here is another one

As of now, I have no idea which one I'll go with.

You should look at this one. I have a 05 Horizon 200LE. I've seen this on a couple of four winns and it looks great on them. My dealer recommends them here in NH. I am getting mine put on in the spring. Was quoted $2400. Also check out Monster Tower
good luck

my200winns,

Do you have a link to the company? What is their name? I've already checked out Monster Tower. They are on my list.

I've been looking at the Pro Flight towers http://www.proflighttowers.com/. They are custom made and seem about the cheapest custom tower I could find. I thought about a universal tower but they are nearly the same price and I don't like the idea of piecing them together to install.

If you buy one soon please post here what you bought and how it worked out.

I put a monster tower on my 99' 180 horizon and made the factory bimini work with it without modifying it. I love the tower, quiet, cleans easily and you can fold it down or take it off real easy if you want to for storage.

cmack - did you decide on a tower? I just picked up a 2002 200H and I would also like to add a tower. I like the way the FW factor tower follows the lines of windshield and the way bimini is integrated into the tower, but not the $6,000 price tag. The wakeair seems the closest to the factory tower. I would be very interested in the choice you made and why.

Does anyone know who makes the FW factory tower?

Thanks in advance.
