Last year I tried a few different ways of tying my dock lines to the single post pop up cleats. But was never fully happy with what it ended up doing. I actually had one slip off overnight. I like to have the "eye" of my line to attach to the boat...not the dock. On a double post cleat it is simple to slip it throught he two posts and flip it over the cleat. Any ideas on the single posts?

Yes...I actually encountered that same problem when I bought my 220-Horizon in 2006. What I learned was so simple it stumped me at first...

hold the eye in one hand, and with the other hand, pull the trailing end of the line just below the eye, through the eye itself. it forms an "o" shape....just slip that "o" over the single post and pull on it to cinch it tight around the post...
