Buy a bigger boat with a bigger motor !

Four winns boats are pleasure craft and are not designed for high speeds.
You will attain a top speed of approximately 50 mph with the standard setup. You can change out your prop for a little better hole shot or top end but an increase in one means a decrease in the other.

Engine mods are a waste of money due to the high dollars versus small hp gains and the amount of horsepower needed to push the boat faster is too great.

Enjoy your new boat as is, do the LED light mods, add a swim platform, better stereo etc.... This way you will see something for your $$$

I agree with millhaven. Buy a bigger boat with more horespower if you feel the need for speed.
The H180 with a 4.3L is plenty fast for what it is, and a total waste of money to even consider any performance improvements on that boat.

Ditto!

But if you must spend money on current boat, drop in a 5.7L ($15K)

HOnestly once you get to the 50 MPH mark how much faster do you want to go? If you want something more than that you have the wrong boat and might want to start looking at say a Donzi for about $100K!! Even my boat tops out at 53 MPH which is plenty fast. Of course mine does have the smallest available engine. Wimpy 310HP 454.
