Hi, looking to be a first time boat owner and have been focused on getting an h190 as the value for the money seems to be the best. It will be used on lakes on northern New England. With that in mind I was wondering if anyone would comment on what a reasonable price for a new H190 with a 4.3 VP GL, standard seating, bimini and covers. The MSRP from the FW site is 28,820 and a dealer I have been working with has come down to 23,800. Is this a good deal?

$23,800 is not too bad if it is a 2010.

Here is a 2009 leftover for comparison.

That's a good price for standard seating. It's hard to compare boat prices sometimes because of the extras some dealers throw in. You've got to add the value of everything you get.

I got free winterizing and 20 hour service in the fall thrown in. Plus the usual safety package...etc...

I would buy a H180 LE for real cheap so you can get a feel for boating and whether or not you are going to stay boating.... Then in a couple of years you can upgrade to a larger boat.
BTW, I believe the H180 LE are at around $16000
Many of us here have done exactly that... If you are sure that is the boat you want for a real long time then go ahead and take the plunge.
