Purchased used H180.. I have two questions.. should have asked previous owner, but forgot :-(

1. There is a soft, pliable, rubber, nipple thing beside the ignition key.. what the heck is it? The owners manual is particularly UNCLEAR on the gauges and dashboard setup :-(
2. The owners manual talks about the speedo pitot tube mounted on the transom... I can't see this anywhere.. can someone give me a pointer?

Thanks in advance,
Kneel

Maybe a picture will help..

Please, add your boat model, year, engine & drive info to your signature so we'll have a better idea how to answer questions.

If your '08 is Volvo powered, you don't have a separate pitot tube, it's integrated into the drive.

Is it an ignition breaker? My older boat has a push button breaker reset next to the key. It is not rubber covered but maybe the newer ones are?

No, I don't think it's electrical.. it's sort of like the little nipple I squeeze on my weedwacker to bring gas to the carb.

it's a breaker fuse for your dash or ignition.

Yep. A breaker. You cannot feel the button inside until it trips, then push it back in to reset just like the breakers on the side of some of those cheapo power-bars except with a weatherproof rubber cover.
