 Post subject: Unhooked wire

So i was cleaning around the motor and i come across a wire that is un hooked...I found it under the starter when i was cleaning. As you can see in the pictures it is has two purple and a black. Anyone have any ideas??

Thats what I was hoping...I looked under it the best I could and there were no slots or places for it to go....

My thoughts too. I would check the obvious stuff... bilge pump, blower, fuel pump... anything it could be close to. Make sure they work, and then make sure it keeps you up at night thinking about what else it could be... buahahaha! :twisted:

It looks to have power going to it (green corrosion) on the purple wires. So tie it up out of the bilge.

Tied it up today... I checked everything and I have no idea where it goes. I guess the next time I have it in for service I will ask...

I checked the ABYC color code chart and purple is supposed to be for ignition wires. Might be for another engine option that was available?
