I have had the single prop always so may not know what I'm missing,but think mine handles great. I guess u get accustomed to your boat and it gets to where it doesn't matter.....unless extreme situation comes up. For me its one less thing to break

The DP is a great option as far as performance goes but if you have rocks or shallow areas it can cost you big time. This is another reason why insurance is important and also getting a good depthfinder and using it every time. Lastly if you can get charts of the area you boat in that helps a lot too.
