I personally don't put bleach anywhere on my seats.... not worried about the vinyl so much as the threading could start to break up. I would try only having a towel between the cover and cushions first, then try cleaning agents after a few days-week if no affect.

I once left a bag of ICE that had an orange logo on it on the vinyl for a few minutes and it turned my vinyl orange. I tried bleach and a lot of other stuff and it did not help. However, I really think the sun has faded it over time, I don't remember seeing it lately.

So you say putting a towel soaked in bleach on the back will be ok with it, the vinyl is practically brand new so age shouldnt be a factor

If you're referring to JohnnyMarlin's post, he said Beach Towel, not Bleach Towel..... :D

Thanks I tried bleach but didnt budge it , so im going to try to leave it in the sun for a couple of days see if that does the trick, cant believe a factory cover would do that, I had the same type cover on my sea ray and it never happened once and it sat outside alot more than this boat has

are you sure it was the same brand material... also not all "factory" covers are installed by the factory, remember that they are most of the time third party products, thus if a dealer outsourced that cover to a Mickey mouse shop that used cheap inferior material.. heck yes it is going to bleed.. read about SUNBRELLA material, it is the industry leading canvas,, It is what I have and hands down it is the bomb diggity
