Perfect Pass

I'm glad to see this...I just got a quote from my local supplier and hope to have a StarGazer Wake Edition S installed this Spring. I'm almost equally excited about having a regularly accurate speedo as much as steady speed for wake boarding.

That perfect pass is nice. Couple of my buddies I boat with most weekends have that on their boats. They do the lion's share of the pulling in our group so probably not worth the expense for me. If they didn't have it I would definitely consider.

Perfect Pass isn't compatible with my DTS engine. I've been looking at Smartcraft (Smart tow). They have a GPS version that I plan on installing this summer.

Perfect Pass is historically one of the most trusted and they specifically advertise a sterndrive option. Another option is Hydrophase which is cheaper than PP and said to be just as good. zero off is the current best with all tournaments using Zero Off as standard.

I want perfect pass on my boat! Just need the cash ......

Another vote for PP. Awesomeness.

Only other mod I have done of significance is adding an amp and a subwoofer to the factory system and upgrading my cockpit speakers to hook into the same amp. Left the bow speakers alone.

Hello Guys:

Can I ask a prop questions to you guys, you seem all to have 5.0 motor with SX Drive.

I have 2003 Monterrey 206 with 5.0 GXI/SX, 94 hours on the motor. Thinking of switching my 4 blade aluminum 14.25x19 prop to 4 blade stainless steel. Maybe 21 or 22 pitch prop. Do you think by going 21 or 22 pinch I will still have a good plate time and better performance on the mid/top end?

That 5.0 GXI motor with 270 HP is a monster for 20-21 feet boat, plus it has a lot of torque. I do not think you will over-prop by going 21-22 pinch?? What you guys think?? My goal is to cruise with half loaded boat at 3000-3200 rpm with 35MPH+ speed!!!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY FEEDBACK THAT I CAN GET!!!

What is your wide open throttle rpm? Knowing this is the only way to answer your question.
You will pick up about 200 rpm for each inch you lower your pitch.
You probably don't want your max rpms to be higher than the engine redline.

Almost forgot. Love my flip up Bose speakers that I installed for when we are in the water swimming.

With Existing porp 14.25 x 19:
43 mph at 4500 RPM
44 mph at 4750 RPM

I think max RPM on this motor is 5000, I didn't want to push past 4750 RPM

So with 14.25 x 20 I should run around 43 mph at 4300 RPM?
And with 14.25 x 21 I should run around 43 mph at 4100 RPM??

Do I understand this correctly? I'm looking for the best stainless steel prop for a mid range.. wanted to cruise half loaded at 35+MPH with 3100-3200 rpm
