Does anyone know the part number for the Horizon 190 with wakeboard tower trailer travel cover? My local dealer is telling me that Four Winns doesn’t make that cover for my boat and that is why I am not getting it from the out of the area dealer that I ordered it from. I have left a message up at the Four Winns factory parts department but haven’t heard anything back. Every time I call the parts department I just get the answering machine. Does anyone have this cover on the same boat as mine?

Thanks for any help,
Josh

I was actually waiting for our local boat show the weekend of February 9/10 before I emptied out my wallet. Please post when you get a direct answer from Four Winns. My dealer in the Seattle area said it was available for the 190. It makes you wonder who is running the departments of these places.

No fuel problems if you just float. Bugger that, I'm burning fuel this season.

I got a call back today from Greg in parts at Four Winns. He said that the trailer travel cover is going to be an option on the 09 H190. As of right now they only have two test covers that have been made for the H190. They will have the actual production covers in about 30 to 60 days. I will keep you all posted if I hear any new details.

Hi Walt, I was at my dealer in Edmonton, Alberta yesterday, they didn't have a part number and didn't know about the new cover?, I told them it was in the brochure, I have the 08 H200SS with the short windscreen, they quoted me $730.00 cdn, they were going too sell me the old standby canvas cover with the tiedowns, after reading this I think I will invest in the new F/W's cover, I actually called F/Ws and they didn't seem to think that there was a difference between the cover for the short windscreen and the tall one? does that make sense, won't it be too loose?, sorry first boat.

Derek,
My cover pictired above looks like it is the same for either windscreen. It seems a bit loose on height, and I think it pools just a bit under the weight of snow because of that. However, with the support poles in place, rain doesn't seem to accumulate. Just make sure you open every locker, hatch, and even lift the seats so as not to get moisture build up. Again, that was around $900 USD for the 210.
Good luck!

Thanks Walt for the response, I am going down too order it today, there is no doubt it is far nicer than the typical canvas cover.

Thanks

Just don't use both at the same time. I did that on my Maxum without trouble, but with this cover, my snap-on's don't push the trailer cover high enough to prevent water pooling.

Hey everybody. This is an old thread but does anybody know if Four Winns makes the trailerable cover for the 2007 Horizon 190 yet?

Hey Derek there is a difference I ordered the cover for my boat, they sent one for the low windscreen. I have the high windscreen on my boat. The cover would not go down below the rubrails. I'm waiting for the new one to come in.

Yep. As far as I know they do. Got one for my 180 last month. Looking forward to less snow and more water... 8)

It ended up being $800 US. I paid a bit more to have them ship it express as I was going to be in Minneapolis that weekend. Got it at Wayzata Marine. Love it so far.
