We hit another snag. The "roof" of the outdrive well on the transom is not parallel with water level. So in order for the platform to sit level like the factory platform L brackets have to be used in the well instead of direct bolting. Here a pic of the dry fit before the screws go in.

I don't understand - not level? From fore to aft or port to starboard? Ah whatever it looks really nice with matched gel and the vent ties it to the white vinyle on the sunpad. Looks totally factory in the pic. Its never as simple as it should be is it?

The swimplatform molded on the rear of all new FW is not level if you sit the trailer on level ground, its level when its floating in the water.

Looks like it's always been there... VERY nice addition. And the extra real estate on the back is a triple bonus.

Now - can you claim that your boat is now a 22' foot? If so - your resale value just went through the roof!
