Beige trim ties the carpet to the dash faux wood. What? It's a Four Winns! Can't be all SS.

Not sure I see what your talking about in the pictures. I will have to take a look at it tomorrow. I don't store my boat at my house I keep it at work.

There is so much orange that it makes it hard for me to notice the brown on the seats. I did look at the dash and wonder why there was some wood trim though.

I think FW made all the Horizon parts unified to lessen the cost to spice up the market. The 06's, first year for the SS, all have white seats and black burl wood dashes.

+1 on the steering wheel.
I also prefer the sony's layout. The clarion deck has too many buttons.
Also noticed the '08 carpet is one piece cockpit and has a cutout for the ski locker hole. Have you trailered it above 65 mph? Did the carpet stay?

I was not one 100% sure - just looks like maybe someone opened your walktrough at speed and the wind took it. There just looks like a little wave in the winshield top but it may be the angle of the pictures.
You do have a lot of orange inside but frankly I love the hell out of it. Its the little bit of brown on the seats that doesn't seem to blend in my eyes (on all of them, including mine). I do love the color of the carpet so i guess it needs to be there to blend and I for one love the wood trim - SS or otherwise. Regals do the wood also but they found it apropriate to fasten it with losts of obvious black screws - kinda cheapo.
Not trying to nit-pick your new pride & joy in fact it is absolutley stunning. Just some funny parts selection practices with FWs in general. Still, better than the comp right?

I agree with the wood and brown....... I have a yellow SS and did not like either of the accent colors, so I have a machine shop quoting a brushed aluminum replacement. That would get rid of the wood entirely from the dash. I am sure there are many out there that like the accent, but for me it is still "hoaky oaky".

Meant to say it before but that Avalanche & SS combo is a kick a$$ kit!
If the woodgrain bugs you guys maybe check the "tuner" circles. You know, the guys with the irridesent civics w 24" wheels, rubber band tires & 6" grapefruit launcher under the back bumper. Crazy cars but they do have access to all kinds of neat material though. I'd bet there is some kind of heat shrink carbon fibre applique that would be a quick and easy mod.

Thanks for the comments bugsdoc1 and great idea on the wood dash panels. I did a bit of research and found this. http://www.rvinyl.com/wrapkits/vinyl/aluminum_flex.htm. Looks like it just "sticks" to the material underneath and is inexpensive. May just give it a shot.

The aluminum flex wrap looks great and I think it would work great. Match it up with some orange (or in Steve's case, yellow) LEDs and it's smokin'. What is left is what to do about the brown dash and seat trim. Does anyone think they could be dyed? Something as simple as a high quality type leather dye (something more than shoe polish) in black to match the canvas and accent color.

Just a thought.....
