I see you have a C63 to? Nice ride. A guy I know just picked up a 2009 C63 AMG. That thing is wicked fast and the exhaust is soooo sweet sounding. I think it had something like 550 HP!!

Great.... Does it float :?:

temnem,
I hope you can get your new boat this weekend, it should be beautiful weather to break her in.

Update.

I've got the water test scheduled for the weekend!! I'm really looking forward to its maiden voyage and I hope the weather cooperates. I'll try (may take an attempt or 2) to post pictures of the boat so others can see what the 180ss looks like. There is little info or pics on the web and nothing at the Four Winns site either. There really should be. I suspect it will be a popular model next year.

I'll ask lots of questions regarding "breaking in the engine" procedure with the dealership. I appreciate the replies regarding my question.

07H200SS.......My C63 AMG is a 2009 and has (only) 451 Hp. Its really is an awsome car. I'd like my boat to sound like it.

Thanks for your help. I'll be sure to post the pics once it arrives. Looks like it won't be this weekend.

Everyday I arrive home from work, my kids are walking around the house with their life jackets on. Yesterday.....the dog even had one on.

I sure hope it gets here soon......

Too funny!!! I'm with everyone else, can't wait to see more pic's of one. Didn't even know they offered the 180 in an SS package. Like Brent said the manual recommends for the first 20 hours I believe, not to go above 3/4 throttle and to vary the RPM's frequently. From what I understand this helps seat all the piston rings and other seals properly. Suppose to help the longevity of your engine. That being said I think I got somewhere in the 10 - 15 hours range last year and couldn't take it anymore and had to run it at WOT for at least for a min or two.
