Awesome, sounds like you're getting plenty of use. Pick up a spare prop and prop nut/prop wrench. If you go through skegemog and have never been through there, you are almost certain to hit a stump.

Here's a quick rundown of some tips around here:
Long Lake - you have the launch on the north side but have to back across N Long Lk Rd and you have Crescent Shores where you have to do a tight U-Turn with your trailer. Neither is good and there are always a ton of people. I don't recommend going there. If you go, watch the shallow spots around and between the islands, that is where most people run aground, ruin their outdrive.
West Bay - Use the elmwood/greilickville launch. It is big, open and protected. Clinch has the waves pushing against the side of your boat. It's more difficult to load/unload there.
East Bay - run up old mission and there is a decent launch to get on east bay. It's shallow but dredged out. Just make sure to learn where the shallow parts are of the bay.
Elk Lake/Torch - several launches to choose from, most are decent. I use the skegemog launch since it free. They just re-did it in the fall, but the dock doesn't seem to be in far enough. This has caused me some issues loading. Whitewater Twp launch is good. I haven't launched at Elk Rapids, so I don't know about that. There is a launch on torch river, but it's tight to turn your boat around and a bunch of stumps (could be dangerous for a new or experienced boater). There's a launch just at the torch river entrance by the sandbar, too many boats and not a great launch imo. Alden has a good launch with docks to tie up to, but you have to park down the road a bit and have to make a tight u-turn. Eastport has a good launch on the north end of torch. When running between elk lake and skegemog, it gets shallow, so slow down. There are stump markers from skegemog to torch river, but I recommend waiting for another boat and follow them your first couple times. I found it best to go north of the entrance a bit and then come south into it as to avoid running through the whole mess of logs. You can spend a lot of time between these lakes including a run through clam lake to grass river and into lake bellaire. Torch is 20 miles long, so a run to the north end and back can take quite a while.
Inland water way - too much you can do here, including go from crooked lake all the way to cheboygan and spend the night (best western and one next door that was suggested to me but I don't know the name). That's about a day itself. fishweb website has a lot of info on the waterway. It's a nice trip.
Areas that I want to get to still are Lake Charlevoix and Walloon Lake.

Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions.
