This is the style of housing mine has on the 2002:

Never mind that the picture has a shut-off valve instead of a shower head...

I ordered the newer style housing to see if I can replace it.

Thanks guys! I know I know...enough ribbing about the pic! All I have is a stupid cell phone pic, and I definitely want an action shot, so probably have to wait till next weekend.

I like the look of the stainless one. I appreciate all of the help, and look forward to bouncing more Horizon ideas off of everyone!

Thanks,

Tim

Mine is different on my 2003 -- more square and the cover actually swings DOWN not UP --- it has been stepped on a couple of times -- not good

OK, finally got around to this very minor project - having an 8-week old at home kind of cuts down the free time....

First the before shots:

After ther first couple of hole-saw attempts I made a "jig" buy cutting through a scrap of wood to use as a saw guide

And the after:

The newer enclosure is much nicer and snaps closed.

Now to order another to upgrade the bow shower!

Great job!

FYI, a pilot drill would make your hole saw work even better than your jig (though the jig was a great idea).

If I'm thinking of the same thing as you, my hole saw has a pilot drill but it only works when there isn't already a hole there so I removed it.
If there's something else, let me know since I have to do it again on the bow!

Thanks!

Erik

Erik, my humblest apologies. I completely forgot you were replacing an existing cover (duh.). Sometimes tools make me delirious.
