If it were me I would want a double axle trailer. If it is the same boat...and I think it is. This dealer had the same price on this boat last summer. Offer him less and see where it goes. Boat is setup nicely and will be a nice buy.

After having a single axle on the last boat and having a dual axle on my current boat...I will never have another single axle trailer. They pull incredibly different/better being a dual. If anything...stick with the price he has, but make him swap the trailer with a dual axle. Anybody sitting on 3 year old "new" merchandise at that price point hasnt made good decisions...maybe this will help him.

I've had both single and double axle trailers. I love the twin axle for towing down the road, but I strongly prefer the single axle for close distances. I live on a lake, so my towing is limited to 1/4 mile down the road and moving the boat/trailer around in my yard in the off season. I'm better off with the single axle at this time

This boat is located in south west michigan. Last summer the boat was $29,995. This spring it's listed at $28,000 but he's offered it to me at $26,000 because I've purchased from him before and it'll be a nice advertisement for him on our local lakes...................

Offer him $23,500 and see if he bites? Ibought my H200SS used with 99 hours on it for $22K. It was a repo and bank was asking $26K. I low balled them at 21K and we made the deal at 22K. Never hurts to try.

Yes...same exact boat. Was offered to an acquaintance of mine last July for $26,000 as well. He called me and asked my opinion since he knew how much I love boats. He ended up buying a used one instead for quite a bit less.

I agree with you on your short tow. I tow at least 60 miles each way and some 200+ trips up north so I would want the double axles. Just make sure you block the wheels off the ground in the winter. Keep us posted and good luck.
