Thanks. It really did turn out good.
We got the fill ins form Fourwinns when we got the boat. They were a little pricey, but worth it. The dog thinks its a cuddy under them.

This stuff works wonders with a small hand held stiff brush. I never use soft scrub anymore. Do a section with soft scrub and a section with this and you will see the difference and how much easier.

Even works on the scuffs you get on the sides or where feet hit.

That price is way out of whack on Amazon. I think my wife gets it at Walmart for a few dollars. Shop it.

Yeah, that price is crazy high on Amazon - our local supermarkets carry Bar Keepers friend for a couple of bucks also - we use it to clean our glass cooktop at home and I'm going to try it on the non-skid for my boat now!

Thanks for the suggestion!

I know some boaters say certain products wear off the "clear coat (if there is some sort of coating from the factory)" of the non-skid. My boat is almost 10 years old. That was long gone and I honestly could not get my non-skid to look nice and white like it used to. A boating buddy turned me on to the Barkeep when we were in the Keys together. His boat is even older than mine and so crisp and white. I spent about and hour cleaning (here I am on vacation and I am scrubbing the deck, but the wives were getting the food put away kids unloading the vehicles) and was amazed. Now I keep some on board for a clean up when the blood mary spills on a early morning Sunday cruise!

Looks good. Get the rubber caps to go over the terminals. They are cheap.

Thanks, mate!
I have the boots at home & plan to do some tidying of the cables, this weekend.
A spagetti circus of cables is a pet hate of mine! :x

In the process of buying a new car, so one thing led to another with car audio products...
The new car has an elaborate GPS/ vehicle function centre that can not be replaced, so the Alpine CDA-117E found it's new home.
The original stereo pocket leaked like crazy, so I bought a Metra item. Little did I know that the Metra's screw holes are MUCH smaller than the cutout, so I had to knock one up out of ply...
I plan to use the 1000Wrms monoblock amp in the new car (1kw rms is crazy in a small boat!), so that was replaced with a cheap AB 2 channel Sony amp (200Wrms).
I replaced the dual 4ohm sub with the old car's Rainbow Hammer (dual 2 ohm), so it can operate from the 2 channel amp.
Got a new steering wheel.
Painted the flame arrestor & added a Chev badge! :P

Looks great! On the side topic thanks  I will definitely try it this weekend to scrub up my deck a bit. I hated those carpets the minute I jumped in the boat.

I really like that sub location. Thinnk I'm going to do that in my 1998 180 sunsport. How did you cut the hole? Thanks and looks great!

Did you upgrade/add speakers elsewhere in the boat?

I used a drill and jigsaw to cut the sub's hole.
You will need to make a ply surround for the sub, as the fibreglass has a slight curve to it.
Speakers are in stock location (bow area & rear). You can see in the video.

Did you have to do anything to the plywood to make it fit the contour, or does it just bend to the contour? Where did you put the amp?

Thanks!

Also, do you think a 12" subwoofer would fit in that spot and can you recommend a good one? I don't like boom ... I like thump and impact. I like quality stuff but like to see value over pure $$$.

Thanks!
