There are a few small lakes we boat on as well, Mona Lake, Bear Lake. All lakes are accessed from our slip via Lake Michigan.

Capn, were you able to get into Mona lake this year? I heard VERY shallow to get in? We like Mona lake for the airshow.

Dicks Halfway at LOTO. The sickest I have ever been from food poisioning was from there. I don't think I let the minnow soak in the booze long enough before I drank it!

Dave, we could not get into Mona Lake this year, channel was washed out most of the time.
We did get in there a couple of years ago with our Cruisers for the Air Show.

We boat the same area as Capn Morgan (Grand Haven, Muskegon and Lake Michigan in general) with added stops along the summer of Crystal Lake (grandparents cottage) and Grand Traverse Bay. We also took a week and a half long vacation to the North Channel...will go back someday.

Looks like the boat will be in dry dock this summer with twin due at the end of April.

I used to live in West Allis and went out on Nagawicka a lot with a friends 18' Larson. Used to have a blast on that lake. Lot of good tie ups happen, but the cost to just launch in the Milw. area was getting out of hand. Used to launch by the Golden Mast and I think then ( 7-8 years ago) it was around $20.00 a day. I only pay that for the whole season up here.

Congrats Wet Dogg, I forgot you were expecting also. We're due end of May. I may just put the boat in the driveway like 230Mike and pretend all summer.

We boat on a inland lake called Lake Raystown in PA. It is close to Altoona and State Collage. It is 30 Miles long with about 120 miles of shore line.

There are about 9 mountain lakes around me. They are all small lakes for what you guys are used to. I have one lake, Prineville Resivor about 10 miles from me and I can't decide on if I will moor the boat or not. It is so expensive at 300 for the year. :D Not sure about the algee (SP?) in the water and how that could harm my boat.

We keep our boat in my summer house at 1000 Islands/Alexandria Bay area on St. Lawrence River in Upstate New York between Memorial Day and Labor Day..... Then we bring her back to my prime house in Northshore Boston in fall and enjoy fall cruises in NH lakes.

more destinations possible

Boat is always trailered...never left in water overnight and flushed after every day on the ocean. There's just something about the ocean and pulling up to shoals and watching 80 foot whales meander by while we're in a 26' boat...its exhilarating.

That is some stunning water by Alex Bay! I bought my last Sea Ray at Hutchinson's and spent a few days shaking it down on the St. Lawrence before having her trucked to my home port. The plan is to one day return to the area under my own power. I know the zebra mussels are an issue but boy, is that water crystal clear! I can't imagine the Hudson ever looking like that.
