LMAO, never tried any of that stuff.

Let me enlighten you.

Per S. Ferguson on CSR, whom is all knowing, and considered a "friend" of some,
even though they have only met one afternoon at a boat show, he recommends the above
mentioned items for the following reasons:

1.) Sham Wow is by far the best for wiping off water spots on your boat hull that has 6 coats of Starbrite Premium Marine Polish with PTFE.
2.) The Chia Pet Herb Garden works wonders in the boat of absorbing gas fumes that linger in the cabin after you run your boat.
3.) The cordless extension cord is highly recommended for both nights per year you might spend overnite on the hook, for turning on and off underwater LED's, as well as during the day to run all 3 polishers you need to keep the boat shiney in front of your house.
4.) The Ove Glove is another usefull item that Scott has found invaluable when changing spark plugs on a hot engine, keeping his head from exploding when he gets the bill for haul out and put back to repair leaky shaft seals. Also very good for changing LED bulbs that were found to be too hot for the housing, and melt the plastic lens. Put the Ove Glove on, and simply pull the melted housing off and replace with a new one that some stranger on an internet forum recommended.
5.) And finallly, The clapper is so nice to have when you are sitting in your boat cockpit, reading a People magazine and sipping on your Mountain Dew, and suddenly, it starts to get dark. The night vision friendly red LED lights on your dash gauges just don't throw off enough light to read. No worries mate, simply clap your hands and your LED white cockpit lights illuminate the entire area with a warm comfortable glow.
When finished with the magazine, simply clap your hands and the lights go off. Priceless !

Maybe I need a job in the marine industry also. Must be nice to have that kind of free time on your hands!

That would be a sweet job, nice find WD. Now that I am back to work after the last 3 days off for boat negotiations, here is a picture of one of the blue LED cockpit lights after I installed them last fall on our 268 Vista. Not real brite in the daylight, but just right at night.

Better get back to work, lunch is almost over and I have very little free time to post here. :)

Never mind the LED light BS ......

You've been dropping hints for weeks.... Are you leaving the Four Winns brand or what?
I can't believe somebody else around here hasn't called you out on this yet...

You don't have to hide in the closet, Even if you change brands we'll still let you post here :D

Good enough... We'll give you until next Friday to "spill the beans". I hope everything goes well for you. If your "negotiating" it implies your looking at something significant..... Don't let us down

Here are some better pics compared to the ones I posted previously....

This is after 2 additional courtesy lights were installed for a total of 4, and all with red LED bulbs installed. You can see my dashboard which had its bulbs replaced with red LEDs as well

Very nice. I replaced my courtesy lights with LED's this weekend also. The helm was done a couple years ago. That just leaves the navigation lights and the light in the head. The head and stern lights will be replaced this week. The bow light is another story.

I installed a dimmer a couple years back because my gauge lights were too bright. Worked fine, but then the bright white lights above the switches bugged me. I see yours stand out as well. In case you're interested, I ended up removing the cover like so...

And covering them with brake light repair tape. Here's how it looks now:

Actually I don't get that greenish look in the middle. Might look cool with your all red look.

The only thing good about the white lights is that it matches the white display screen on my Sony stereo. I assume those white lights are LEDs? Thats pretty cool, I might try that!

The light bars appear to be plexiglass rods with a light focused through one end - not sure if the light is led or not. The pic really doesn't do it justice, it's a really nice red glow.
