Hi I have a 2000 FW Horizon 210 with the VDO dash.. Four Winns still has replacement dashes with separate gauges to replace VDO gauges. How do you get the wood grained trim off that surrounds the cluster. I want to swap mine out for new ones. :?: Help. Any info will be appreciated.

I finally found a source for the new dash and it's much cheaper than the Four Winns version that they stopped carrying for awhile and are now carrying again. I’m really happy with the way it turned out. I repainted it all with automotive dash paint (semi-flexible paint). I used a wood grain laminate to re-surface the faceplate and that little horizontal piece in front of the instrument panel (originally green). I got the vinyl lettering for the faceplate at www.diylettering.com.

For the dash unit, talk to:

I don't know how to attach pictures, but include your e-mail and will be happy to send. Or let me know how to post pics to this portal.

New guy here..... just purchased a 2001 Horizon 260 that came with a new Faria instrument cluster package (yet to be installed). I honestly can't figure out how to remove the old one. Any tips you can offer? Realize I will need to do some Dremel work to install the new one, but kinda stuck until I get the old one out. I do see some small phillips screws that need to be removed under the dash to remove the woodgrain bezel, but there is only about 1/3 of the cluster and bezel accessible on the starboard side under the dash. Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
