My home lake is primarily Torch Lake. We get around to Elk Lake and some others including grand traverse bay on occassion, but when you have Torch Lake within distance, why go anywhere else.

Would that be the great lakes for the other 5? Or is that 6th largest in the US?

Lake Champlain (?sp) or Lake Okeechobee is the largest depending on what/where you read. Most agree Lake Winnebego is second to either. Wouldn't that make it third though?

After that many different lakes claim to be the 4th/5th/6th..... largest lake in the U.S. It just depends on who's word you want to take I guess.

Yeah I was a little bored this morning. :)

Texoma!

I will not go on Lake Lewisville - too crowded and too many bunk droaters.... But that is just me.
I keep my boat up at Texoma and launch out of Highport. It is a big lake with lots to offer IMO

I would say 99.9 of the time it will be Lake Ray Hubbard in Texas, I live about 1000 yards from the lake, it's not huge but is a great lake for everything and has a cool party sport that is very family friendly.

We are this way about Lewisville. Its about 100 yard walk from the backyard to the water line. Even though the damn Corp wont allow us to have a dock, its still hard to venture to other lakes when I have one in my backyard.

We have boated in the past on Lake Cumberland and Laural Lake in KY with our 2001 Maxum 1900 SR. We just purchased a 2005 Four Winns H230 and will be keeping at Norris Lake in TN next year.

Though we'll travel and camp at some Pacific Northwest lakes our home location is in the Tri-Cities, WA along the Columbia River. My office is about 500 yards from it and home about 1 mile to the nearest boat launch. We have miles and miles of areas to play on, so getting away from folks is juts a matter of time and distance. We can also head up the Snake River, which empties into the Columbia which I've heard is better for boating early in the season as it warms up faster. We can either trailer above the dam or go through the locks.

Congrats Wintermute on your new (week old) purchase. Despite what you were told on TBM forums, the H203 is not a slow boat. Yes, a Stingray 195 is faster, but not nearly as solid and would not handle chop as well as your H203. Enjoy !

I'm sure of it, I simply wanted to find out were to locate fuel flow and WOT speed data while aknowledging the fact that the data available on TBM for Stingray was not relevant to my boat. Not get into a whole Stingray vs Four Winns bun fight.

Handling the chop is what is all about... and anyway I can alway get that extra 2 mph on the GPS just by going downstream

We live in the Greater Toronto Area and boat in Muskoka, near Gravenhurst. Southern Ontario is awash with lakes to visit, and the Trent-Severn Waterway is 240 KM (200 mi) of locks, lakes and rivers to explore. We still haven't seen it all.
